ADT Security System in the Pool Area
We have recently had motion detectors put in the concession stand and around the pool area. Entering the pool area without permission is traspassing. Rivershire Maintenance Funds, Inc. will prosecute those caught inside the pool area when it is closed or if caught causing property damage.
Rocks on the Pool Deck and in Pool
We need your help we are having a problem with rocks, from the french drain next to the pool, being thrown over the fence on to the pool deck and in the pool. If one of the rocks crack the pool plaster then we will be without a pool all summer. Please report any activity by calling the police. We need to work together to stop this vandalism!
Theft and Break Ins
We are experiencing a large amount of Car and Home Break Ins during the day and at night. Make sure you are locking up your cars, they are going from car to car (even in the driveway) to see if they are unlocked. Then they go through the car looking for certain things of their liking the police think they are looking for things with numbers on them credit card numbers, social security numbers, drivers license numbers etc. The houses that are being broken into have been either through an unlocked door or garage or breaking in through a window. They are taking large objects, such as TV’s, Sterios, Computers or they are just going through the house turning everything inside out just looking for certain items again police believe they are looking for numbers.
The suggestions from the police are to keep doors locked. Make sure the door between you garage to the house is locked. Also at night use the manual lock on your garage door so they can not use a device that can figure out the code for the older garage door openers. Install motion dectector lights place them up higher so it can light up a larger area. AND That we should start a Neighborhood Watch Program in Rivershire. Please make sure if you are a victim to call the police, no break in is to small. The only way we are going to get extra patrolling in the neighborhood is if we call in and report them. That way they will have a record on what is happening in our neighborhood and hopefully patrol it more.
New “4 way stop”
The city has added two stops signs on N. Rivershire and Windsor making it a 4-way stop.
The speed limit in our neighborhood is 25 MPH.
We are working on getting some new signs placed around the neighborhood. The signs will be put on the light post, with the permission of Entergy and the City of Conroe, the sign will say “Please drive carefully, We love our children”. The signs are being donated to Rivershire by Signs, Inc.
