Wildfire Victims and Firefighters Need Supplies
RIVERSHIRE HOMEOWER’S … YOU CAN HELP!!!!
PLEASE READ THIS LETTER FROM JOANNE HILL, PRESIDENT OF RIVERSHIRE HOA:
I received this from my son today.
Good morning and thank you for your time. As you all know fires are spreading across our great state. Without rain in site and a limited number of resources, many people have lost their homes. I have wanted to get involved and help and the best way I know how, is to help these people with getting them the things they need. I have coordinated with a pastor at my Church, and I am going to be a drop off location here at the gym for supplies for these poor people. They need everything, but especially, towels, wash cloths, paper towels, tooth brushes, toilet paper, water, just everything. Probably even gift cards to try and start replacing a few things they have lost. If you have anything you would like to donate, I will be more than happy to get it to these people. Again, thank you for your time and for your efforts in contributing to this horrible circumstance.

I would like to ask everyone in Rivershire to spread the word and let’s collect these things ourselves. My son’s business is in The Woodlands, but I will collect any donations at my house (107 Regency Way). I will have these put directly into my Explorer and when full, I will take these things to him. My heart goes out to these people. In 1994, I lost everything I owned in the flood in River Plantation and I know what it means to have little things. When I was asked what I needed, the first thing I said was toilet paper because once we got back into our houses, that was what we really needed. We didn’t even have safety pins. This was something you never think about. So, please open up your hearts and let’s help these people with our generosity. God has blessed us, so let’s share his blessings.
